Job Opportunity

We are seeking Full Time Sales Experts on an hourly basis for our newly established Toronto store. Our Sales Experts will manage our store, including sales, customer engagement and service and showroom maintenance

Responsibilities:

  • Driving sales at the floor to impart a superlative customer experience and collaborating with the team to achieve store goals and objectives
  • Acquiring thorough product knowledge to be able to confidently explain products to customers
  • Engaging with customers to build relationships to analyse their needs, budget and extend expert advice accordingly
  • Ensuring customer delight and brand loyalty by transacting with them in a professional and positive demeanor via correct selling
  • Participate actively during store promotions and take initiative to recommend creative solutions to drive business priorities
  • Providing customer service via email and phone to address enquiries and troubleshoot grievances regarding the products sold
  • Ensuring adherence to Wazo sales Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Managing merchandise display and maintaining a clean showroom
  • Assisting with miscellaneous tasks as needed

 

The Right Person:

Educational Qualification              

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

  • At least 2 years of selling experience in a retail environment, preferably in a furniture retail format
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in a retail environment

Functional Competencies

  • Ability to close a sale via establishing a relationship with the customer and analyzing their needs
  • Strong assertiveness and negotiation skills to make a confident correct sale
  • Experience in analyzing retail metrics to and achieve monthly targets and suggest solutions to enhance business
  • Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of a retail Point of Sale (POS) system is an asset
  • Experience of the billing process would be a plus
