1946 Parlor Mid Century Modern Loveseat Sofa
This comfortable and space conscious sofa is the perfect meeting point between mid-century modernism and organic artistic curves. Created by Finn Juhl in 1946, the designer got his inspiration for this modern sofa from the art works of Picasso. Originally named the Poet Sofa, the sofa designer made the sofa for his personal use at home. But the artistic intent is clear with the curves of the frame. This artistic flair is further reinforced in the use of contrasting and coordinating fabric colour combinations on the sofa body, seat and buttons.
